Cemetery projects by Stedinger Associates included measures for restoration, searches for unmarked graves, original boundaries, outlying individuals, and sometimes the location of the cemetery itself. The use of ground penetrating radar has been particularly successful.
Louise and Gerald continue to use their own ground penetrating radar but limit its application to searches for human remains or investigations of 'cold case' crime scenes.
Some general cemeteries investigated by Stedinger Associates are those at:
Upper Castlereagh (Methodist)
St Marys (original Burwood Cemetery)
St Mark’s, Appin
Camden General Cemetery
Quarantine Station Cemetery No.3
Other smaller cemeteries include those at:
Rose Isle Station
Graves have also been investigated at:
Old Great North Road
as well as that of Robert Byers and an unidentified person at Old Ulan.
Her work on human remains includes the recording and excavation of burial grounds, crypts and clandestine graves from the Early and Late Neolithic, to the Bronze Age and Renaissance Europe to Colonial Australia and those of more recent deceased persons.
